Film Moment 1

Young Indiana Counting

Young Indina (River Phoenix) has just escaped from the bad guys. He runs excitedly home to his father (Sean Connery), keen on telling him everything about his adventure. However, his dad is busy translating something and he tells Indy to count to ten. His son does as told: "One, two, three..." - and his father interrupts him "in Greek!" - and Indy starts counting in Greek.
I thought it was a very funny scene because it shows that the Jones household is no ordinary family. And it also shows the relationship between Young Indy and his dad.

Film Moment 2

Indy Freeing His Father

Indiana Jones (Harrison Ford) is trying to free his father from the Nazis. He jumps through the window into his dad's (Sean Connery) room. Henry Jones crashes a vase onto Indy's head (thinking he was one of the bad guys). Henry examines the vase and exclaims: "Late 14th Ming Dynasty. Oh it breaks my heart" to which Indy replies "And the head. You hit me, dad." Henry in his thoughts mumbles "I'll never forgive myself" - Indy touched by this, smiles and says "don't worry, I'm all right!". His father also smiles at him, points at the vase and says that it's a fake one...
It's a classic scene of misunderstandings. Indy always looking for his father's love and Henry Jones always looks for history...
